“It’s sink or swim” – a conventional wisdom often used by people. In other words, a person have to solve his problem himself, not expecting others to help. The biblical principle is drastically different from this laic standpoint. “If people are up to murdering someone, you have to rescue him” – the Scripture teaches. And to save a person it is enough sometimes to share what you have: to feed the hungry, to dress the unclothed, to give a roof over the head to those who were forced to leave their home. The broke out in Ukraine and many people had to flee their motherland for foreign countries in search of a peaceful life. Someone managed to escape an occupied town, others left from under the shelling, for health reasons or due to advancing years, which makes it stressful to hear the air raid alerts constantly. Many thanks to the Christians of Lithuania for care and support. The help you give Ukrainians is invaluable. You display a sincere desire to help; you prove a genuine brotherly love and assistance. For the third time you make more than a thousand kilometers, crossing several countries. You spend hours at custom offices to help our country. There is nothing more precious than a human life, and you literally save these lives. Praise the Lord for you.
