Head of AMBCU Roman Rakhuba reports about current situation in the country.
''Friends, difficult times have come. It’s been chaos and panic all around Ukraine for seven days now. The war has changed our plans and our lives. Many are going abroad with their children to get them to secure places. Churches are evacuating. It is difficult and tough for everyone, but we must not succumb to general fuss and do our best to serve those in hot spots and those searching for a secure place.
A huge thank you to all who are praying. Thanks for your participation and for not being indifferent. It is much easier to surmount hardships when you can feel support. Mennonite churches are in continuous communication with each other. As of now, we are trying to help those who have been trapped in occupied zones and left without food, warmth and communication facilities. Please pray for us; if you are willing to help in any way, please contact us.''
